Harding's Hope Is March's Charity Of The Month

Minnesota Wild Player Josh Harding has been struggling with MS also known as multiple sclerosis for awhile now. He's been undergoing treatment since diagnosis for the disease, which attacks the body's immune system and affects the central nervous system. Symptoms can include problems with balance, vision and fatigue.

Harding is only 28 and has no plans for this to interfere with his hockey career as a Minnesota Wild goaltender. This current Minnesota Wild Hockey season Harding has been out since January 2nd.

Every month the Wild teams up with a local charity and sponsors it as the Charity of the Month. But the month of March, the charity hits extra close to the Wild’s heart as Harding’s Hope gets the month’s honors.

The proceeds of any Josh Harding items purchased at any of the three Hockey Lodge locations or online atstateofhockeystore.com will benefit Harding’s Hope. Meaning any  jerseys, shirts, novelty items, or signed memorabilia. If it has Hardings name on it, it counts.

“My goal with this charity is to give hope to people who are living with MS and let them know that they are not alone. I would like to raise awareness so people understand what MS is and raise funds to support people living with multiple sclerosis.” said Harding.
